There's not much space on the Caponord, and not many options for locating the different components.
The Aprilia V2's all have electronic speedo's with the sensor reading off the rear disc bolts.
On the Futura and Caponord, the signal generated by the inductive type sensor is too weak for the controller to read, so the separate reed switch setup is still required.
Note: All other Aprilia V2's use a Hall effect sensor on which the signal wire can be tapped instead of using the reed switch.
